i "ve import Caddilac STS 1999 model from japan but there in car metter output language is japanes that i can,t understand ,, i want to convert japan language into English but i don,t now how 2 change i can,t read the problum messages that computer give me
can u explain me how 2 change language?

I believe you can not do it yourself, you need to take it to a GM dealer where the can plug in a Tech 2 scan tool and change it that way. I am not 100% certain if an independent shop with a generic scan tool can perform a change of language, but it would be worth a call.

It has no meaning to the consumer, it is just erroneous messages. It seems to show up alot more on export vehicles.
