My car will not pass smog. Diagnostics on it, does not show anything wrong with the motor. The Tech guy, told me to drive it for 30 miles. I bring it back and it still wont pass. So I drive it for another 50 miles, and I bring it back and still it wont pass smog and he says, that even the CODES does not appear. Is time to sell this big headache to the junk yard?

The question is why it won't pass. The should give you a failure sheet that shows what criteria has not been met.

So I took my caddie to get diagnostics, and it did not diagnose anything. The tech said there is nothing wrong with the engine. At least, there was nothing showing up on his computer. And also, it just said "NO CODES".... ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

Usually, when the emissions test is failed, there is a sheet that goes with it illustrating the reason for failure. I don't know what state you are in, and how the tests are conducted. If the emissions I/M flags are not showing ready status, you can still fail, with no codes or other issues. There has to be a reason why they are failing you, that would help in guidance.

I agree with FACTORY JACK. You need a print out as to what is causing the failure. If it is for readiness codes they should tell which one/ones have not completed. Something like that you would need a more advance scanner to look at MOD6 data to see which monitor is failing? Hope this helps.
