1997 Cad Seville - STS 4 door:
RF window is closed and will not open when window control buttons are pushed. I have a replacement electric motor (although I am not sure that the motor itself is the problem). I need to know how to get the RF Door Panel off and then how to proceed to find and fix the problem.

Most trim panels now require a tool to get under the plastic panel, and "pop" the push pins out without breaking the plastic portion of the panel. Once you carfully find and remove all those, there may be a screw or two that need to be removed. Once the panel is off, use a voltmeter on the connector, and activate the switch on bothe the master and passenger door, if the meter shows voltage, the motor is NG, if no voltage, check wiring in the doors where it goes into the car, this is were they usually break!
