What is the history of blown head gaskets on a 1994
North Star engine? Ihave no problems at this time.

Northstars of any age are known for head gasket leaks. It is not the gasket that fails, it is the head bolt thread that looses its integrity over time. The OE repair is to install a thread insert called 'timesert'. The complete block is done, any time one fails.
