I have a 1977 cadillac Seville. She starsts and runs ok until hot then runs bad and shuts down.

Can you tell me where the data link connector is in ordrer to check the trouble codes?

Thoses cars had a problem with the coolant sensor for the ECM try replacing it to recheck system.
