2003 Cadillac SLS jump starting battery

Battery is located under the rear seat cushion, on the passenger side. Firmly lift on one side of the seat cushion, and then the other side, to release the retainers.

The battery is under the rear seat but that is not how to jump start it. Under the hood on the passanger side there is a plastic cove with a + sign on it lift the cover and you will see a stud. That stud is for the possitive side to hook to. Now the - side or ground goes to a good known ground under the hood and you can jump start it. I tried to find a pic but could not so hope this helps.
