My wipers turn on, run fast and spray wiper fluid all by themselves. It first happened when i put the car in park, got out to get mail and when i got back in car, they started up. Now a few days later, i am driving down road and they do this again. ???? thanks mary

If the wipers, and the washers are coming on at any time, I would suspect the wiper module, a.k.a wiper motor cover. Is the switch in the off position when this happens?

Yes, the wipers are in the off position when this happens. Thank you for replying to my question. I am original owner, and the car is my "baby". Mary

The washer is controlled by that module, as well as the wipers. I would say if both are coming on, something is shorting in that module.
