1996 Cadillac SLS V8 Automatic 12100 miles

MY 1996 CADILLAC SLS LOW OIL PRESSURE LIGHT COMES ON AFTER A FEW MILES OF DRIVING. WOULD AN OIL FLUSH TO REMOVE CLOGGED PORTS BE THE ANSWER?

Very seldom is a flush an answer to a problem. Check the oil pressure sending unit connector for oil in it, and if you have no engine noise or reason to suspect low oil pressure, replace the oil pressure sending unit. There are some cases where you might get a bad sensor out of the box, so be aware. The most recent one I seen in our shop, took four sensors until they got a good one.
