1994 Cadillac SLS stops running when take foot of pedal

You could have a faulty throttle switch in your ISC motor. Look at the motor down at your throttle cam, and see if the pushrod is fully retracted. If the state of the switch does not change when the throttle is pressed, the thought is that the idle is too high, and it retracts to try and control it. Do you have a check engine light on?
