Dear 2CarPros,
I am currently having issues with my ac unit. My dash was reading: "low refrigerant", so I had to attach a jumper wire on my lower pressure switch plug. Before I did this, I vaccumed down the system, and recharged the system with the proper amount of free-on refrigerant. Next, I took the jumper wire off, and reattached it to the cycling switch. But, the compressor would not come on. The dash contiunally reads: "low free-on". There are 2 lbs. in the system, so I know it's not low. So, in order for the ac to work, I have to leave the jumper wire on. Please help!! Thank you for your time.
Thanks,
DMojica
