I dont have any security lights coming on or flashing across the screen or nothing,it just do it when it feels likeit,Like I mentioned earlier that I had a short in my ignition Fixed in2005 an I didn't really get the chance to drive it much cause up here in Michigan if you've had a car painted its best not to drive in the snow&salt, but I just use to start it up an let it idle,But now its like as soon as I cut the car off an try to restart it the car won't make a sound all the dash lights come on but no starter sound an thats new(starter)! But whats crazy is that all the wireing under the dash is all on the same harness including all the ABS wireing I jus found out that the Wireing to the ABS motor has a short in it an the ignition is all on the same wireing harness !!!!This makes you wanna pull you hair out I sewer!!!

think that does that to you, Pulling hair out and swearing, the more you know how things work the easyer it gets tho. lol try being a mechanic dealing with this every day lol, well once you turn it off you need to ck the purple wire to the starter, it comes from the Ign switch for power, use a test light, have some one turn the key and you watch the test light, if it lights that means power is comming through your ign switch and the starter is the problem, new or not. if you dont have power there then its your Ign switch or security sys

try that and let me know, thanks
