I was driving home on the freeway, and my power steering went out, and my rubber belt thats hooked up to my alternator came off. I was just wondering if because my rubber belt popped off my power steering went out. Can you please get back to me on this one. Thanks you. V8 4100, 111000 miles,

If the belt came off then you will not have the pump running..so no power steering...check for any frozen pulleys before you put the new belt on, and get a new tensioner while youre at it!
