Do have a check engine light On while it was running or has flashed? If so pull the code/s and comeback with it.

Do you mean it cranks over and refuses to start or it won't crank over at all?

Test the coolant temperature sensor this one tells the computer to increase injection duration for a cold engine.

It will start when cold.......If you tap the starter it well start....Is there a diff between a rebuilt starter and new?????? I'm getting confused here about the hood -you sure you don't have a kill swtich on the ignitiion system wired to the hood?

Get the battery tested make sure its clean and tighten-then have helper to put key to start while you go underneath and look for power on the small purple wire if its there replace the starter-rebuild or whatever replace it - its no good

No power take it back to the neutral safety switch and ignition switch

BTW do you have a security guard on this Caddy?

The hood is open to cool the moter when it thinks it is hot Just for air...NO killl anywear....Alarm yes two I never use...........We need to talk can we do this ???? My email [email protected]

Do this spray carb cleaner into the throttle body and tell me if it starts and die.
