cd drive seems very loud can hear it with volum all the way down ,my ext is a2007 with nav & rear entertanment listened to a 2009 , heard nothing

It needs to be compared with a similar vehicle to be certain. There may have been a manufacturer change within that time frame. Have you taken it in to the dealer with the concern?
