2003 Cadillac Escalade Ext V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

03 escalade ext 6.0 l the oil pressure gauge reads to high mecanic told me to replace oil pressure sending unit or oil pressure switch he said is the same. i got oil pressure switch but i dont know where is located. and if is ok to drive it like this

it is ok to drive like that. the sending unit may be at the back of the block or on either side at the back of the block. Actually i think it's by the oil filter if I remember correctly....just above it.
