2003 Cadillac Escalade oil sensor won't turn off

hopefully you have read the manual on how to turn it off. But here's how in case you haven't. turn the key on and depress the gas pedall all the way to floor 3 times within 5 seconds. the light should blink. when it does, turn the key off and then start the engine. It should turn off. YOu'll have to take this to a dealer so they can install thier tool if that doesn't correct it. It may be teh instrument panlel has gone bad Or a bad connection.
