I drive this truck every 7-10 days as a second car. From Oct-April, the battery goes dead in cold weather. As soon as AAA attaches their booster, the truck immediately starts.

I purchased a new battery and after 6 months experincing same issues.

How long can the average car sit before the battery goes dead?

The Cadillac dealer told me they couldn't find anything.

Should I invest in a battery booster?

Thanks

Should I invest in a battery booster? You should for that period of time.

Might want to have it check for an excessive parastic draw just for curiosity I would if its me. Remember the car has memories that needs to be powered at all times. And also you don't want to disconnect the battery-doing it might require you to do a computer relearning.

if you let it sit more than a week, your battery will be dead, do you have onstar still? there is a campaign on you truck I belive for it, if onstar is not used, ck with dealer(caddy dealer) with your vin #'s to see if it has been done, or buy a battery disconnect, auto parts places have them
