location of pre cat oxygen sensors and how difficult to replace? my mechanic wants 150 labor, plus 240 parts almost 400 i would like to do it myself would i need to work under the car or can you do this from under the hood? catalytic convertor is new and also the post cat oxygen sensor

Bank 1 can be accessed from under the hood, it is between firewall and engine about the center of top. You will probably need a special socket or crowfoot to R&R. The bank 2 sensor is under the front, in the manifold just before the flange of the crossover pipe.
