1993 Cadillac El Dorado Water pump/thermastat

My question is what should the coolant temp.read on the onboard computer at normal running conditions. Trying to determine whether i have a bad water pump or themastat. It was steaming out the over flow line, so when it cooled down i refilled it with 50/50 coolant.

if no leaks are found replace the thermostat first, sometimes this motor is hard to get the air out of the cooling sys (190 to 215 is normal)
