Electrical problem
1990 Cadillac El Dorado V8 <10000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 1990 Cadillac El Dorado and it has many many many problems with it. First off the brakes stick the emergency brake doesn't work the engine will not turn on no matter how many times to try to start it and I think it might be electrical but I'm not sure and it is so frustrating! Last year it would start and run okay but it had some problems with stalling, but recently it kept dying so frequently until finally it just died permanently it seems, there's not even a click to show that the car or engine is responding. I was woondering if there was any one who could tell me or give me an idea of what the cause for the engine not starting could be.

well if it wont turn over ck the battery first, cables for corosion, and for tightness, then a load test, if ok then, ck the starter, make sure power is getting to solinoids S termnal with a test light, make sure the motor turns over by hand, put a wrench on the crank bolt, and turn it a full revelution
