I just purchased this 1987 Eldorado and am having problem with the windshield wipers. I can turn them on normally but they will not turn off.....Only after I turn off the ignition will they return to their "nesting" state.... Also the washer will turn on wipers when depressed but the fluid will not operate and once again the wipers will not shut off until the ignition is shut off.
It looks as if the wiper motor has been replaced with one from junkyard as it has Buick painted on it in yellow (like from salvage yard)
Please help this is a real problem as I live in mountains and need the wipers alot
I did replace the switch but didn't fix .....is there a wiper pulse board somewhere on car or is that in the motor assembly???????
