1967 Cadillac El Dorado V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

1967, first year of the fwd for caddy. 67 had the carry over 429. Can any 429 be used for the car? Can you just retro fit another 429 not from an Eldo as the other 429 were for RWD caddys

As long as the bell housing pattern is the same,im sure they didnt make different engines fo FWD or RWD. You will need to change the oil pan and oil pump pickup, they are differnet
