2002 Cadillac DTS engine miss when starting cold

car has had numerous problems in last year,recently had plugs and rear coil pack replaced occasionally runs a little a little warm,but when it drops off of high idle it runs like a champ,i believe code reads were 300 and 302,any ideas

Those are misfire codes

1.Defective spark plug
2.Inadequate spark/coil,defective spark plug wire.
3.Lack of compression
4.False air leakage.
5.Faulty fuel injectors.
6.Insufficient fuel pressure.
7.Contaminated fuel.
8.EGR valve that is leaking.
9.Oxygen sensors.
10.Throttle position senso

If you have a p0302, you have a control(primary) circuit fault with the front bank coil. You can swap coils and see if it changes, if so replace the coil. If it does not change and th 302 reoccurs, you need to check circuits from the ICM(front bank) to the powertrain control module.

Try checking the no. 2 sparkplug, compression and injector
