deville traction controll

I have a 1998 devlle with a 4.6 32 valve north star engine. The traction controll will not disengage. what is wrong and how do I go about testing and fixing it?

Need to start by getting codes from the powetrain control system. The BCM should have the codes to begin the troubleshooting process.
