car looses power and want move when in drive or reverse

Hi guys havnt been here in a while .I have a 1994 cadillac devile 4.9 120000 miles.I was having power issues so I changed the cataylic convertor ran better now I hear a winding sound when i drive coming from right side passenger front.But I am loosing power again then the car will not move at all after I turn it off and restart it ,it moves but at like 10 to 15 miles and dont want to move then .I had to change the wheel directions to get the car to move can you help please.
