I have a 94 Cad sedan deville with 70000 miles. The engine size is 4.9L. The brakes vibrate at the end of higher speed braking. The brake pads are new, the disks were turned for the first time and are on the high side. The disks are flat ie not warped, and the slides are clean with light lube on them. The front end, likage etc are tight. No signs of alignment problems. Any ideas?

Did this start after the brake job or was it present beforehand? 4-wheel disc?

What is likley happening is the rotors are unable to handle the heat from the friction caused by the braking action at additional force. As the heat up, they warp, as they cool the return to flat.

sorry who ever turned your rotors did a bad job, and if you stuck the old pads back on a new rotor turn you probally warped them again. did you do all 4 rotors, push the emergency brake down while driving and see if it is in the rear rotors while holding the release lever
