I have a 1998 Cadillac Deville (mileae 123000) and when I set the thermostate to auto air the airflow will come out the window defrost instead of the air vents. I will switch back to vents then switch back to coming out the front window. It actually will frost up the windows at night. This causes the air conditioner to run excessively because all the air is coming out the defrost. It started several months ago but it would switch back now it is continuous coming out of the vent at the front window.
