2004 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I cannot locate this information so I'm hoping to get an answer here though it's not a repair question.

What is the towing capacity for this DeVille? I want to tow a tent trailer or a small travel trailer. Not more than 18-20' in length.

This vehicle was never meant to tow anything, so these specs are hard to find.

However, they are required to be rated so I was able to find a chart below showing that this has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds.

Please let me know if you need more information but I would suggest not towing close to this weight. Just make sure your trailer is a couple hundred pounds under this so that you don't risk damaging the vehicle because again, this vehicle was not meant for towing.
