2003 Cadillac Deville Engine Noise

I was told at the dealership that I had a piston slap at cold startup and if it went away within ten minutes it was acceptable. What do you say about this? I still have one year bumper to bumper warranty.

its not acceptable, its carbon, if this is what happeneds, you need a top engine clean. the use of preimum fuel causes high carbon build up. was this a caddy dealership or a chevy dealership?
