2002 Cadillac Deville lights for battery are coming on afte

2002 Cadillac Deville All Wheel Drive Automatic

used car was bought by elderly gentleman. decided to do preventive maintainence and changed the battery and altenator. Lights on dash are indicating battery is not charging. Took it to a Cadillac dealer, put it on machine, nothing is wrong. Should something have been reset after changing battery and altenator?

Hi there,

Nothing will have to be reset as such, but if there is no charge indication, you should have the alternator charge rate check on the car, if the alternator is charging there will be a problem with the wiring.
