blower not working

Your deville has no relay, it has a speed control processor. I would check the blower connector, bridge the terminals with a test light. If the light lights, you need a blower motor. Try tapping on the housing, this sometimes gets it to operate. That will tell you as well, that you have a blower motor issue.

Thanks, can you tell me where I might find the blower connector on the car? Is there also a site I might find a Schematic also? The blower works sometimes, it seems to be an Intermittent issue.

The blower is under the rh side of the instrument panel, you may have to remove an insulator. Here is a schematic, it is small and may be hard to read. The schematic is not that involved though, so let me know if you need particulars. This guide will help as well.

Thanks for the info, I took off the panel but not shure of where the blower conection is on the schematic. I taped the black housing unit behind the ashtray and the blower started working. Where do I go from here? Please make it an easy fix! I'm too old to climb under the dash for too long.

Have to tap it to get it going. drive to location get out come back will not work at all. Took motor out plug back up did not work. touch fan started working. Shut car off tried again. Nothing. Touched connection to motor started working. Do not know if it is motor or fan.
