my heated seats in my 2001 deville do not heat the light comes on and i can hear a clicking noise coming from under the seat but that is it is there a relay switch or any thing to check under the seat

You have high resistance in one or more of the elements. The clicking is the seat heater modules current limiting feature, turning it on, then back off.
