2000 Cadillac Deville Key wont turn in ignition

does it turn good now, was the steering wheel locked though when you tryed to turn the key?

Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn't. Yes, the wheel was locked at the time. But, it does do it frequently, more times than not. Just started doing it today."

i had the same trouble with my 89 deville, and the locksmith cured it with simply shooting a little lubricant into the key cylinder.it was called tri-flow superior lubricant.try that!!

and yes joseph, that stuff works really well and it usually only requires lubrication, better then replacing the cylinder!
