2000 Cadillac Deville car has the shakes.

when travling above 50 mph my car starts to shake. i went to get my alignment done and i was told to change my tie rods beacuse there was alot of play. i changed them and it still shakes. do i need to change the whole rack and pinion or the axels.....please help..
