WHEN WE START THE CAR THE TRUNK AND GAS FLAP OPENS, SIX OUT OF 10 TIMES BY IT SELF.

Check and be sure the connections warere clean and also that they are tight for the battery. Check the battery as well...how old is it?
The negative cable is only about a foot and half long and connects to the body of the vehicle under the rear seat.

Also check a ground connection that
straddles the body and the engine in the right-hand corner near the alternator.
