1997 Cadillac Deville V8 Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 94,678 miles

My speedometer went out and was replacing it with a used cluster unit from a junkyard. When replacing the unit the car will not start with the new unit. When I put the old one back in the car it does start. What do I need to do to get the new used one to work?

it doesnt reconise the key, a relearn for the IP is needed at a caddy dealer
