1996 Cadillac Deville noise

noise at any speed,light clunking noise from upper engine area.ball joints,rack,tie rods etc. have been changed. could it be upper strut mounts? are they a common problem? can a 63 year old do it?

Is this noise just influenced by speed, or does turning or bumps play a part. Can you duplictae it be swaying the car right and left abruptly. Could be sway bar links, could be upper mounts/bushings, could be struts. A 63 year old could do it with the proper tools, a spring compressor would be needed.
