Wobbles when driving

I have a 96 Cadillac Seville with 115k miles. When I am driving down the road - not speed dependent - my car will feel like it is shifting right. Like the wind is blowing it except for it is not windy. If I hit a bump it feels like my backend wants to go in a different direction then my front. If I am driving down the road and turn the wheel slightly left my car responds like one of my tires are flat. If I turn slightly right the car feels normal like the tires are hugging the pavement. Make sure your wheels lug nuts are tight, also check your suspension components to see if something is loose or broken .
To be one the safe site avoid driving this car until you check or have someone check your car .

the problem is the rear knuckles, the bushings are wore out, there about 400.00 bucks each plus labor to install them

So how many knuckles are we talking about ?
And what is a" ball park" price the dealer is going to charge ?
Sounds like big problem .

there are 2, prob 3-4 hrs and an alignment. you dont have to have it done at the dealer. to ck this you need to jack up a rear tire, grab it from side to side and up an down. does it move or feel loose?

if so I would buy the parts your self to prevent mark up of parts

Well...I guess if that is the problem a minimum of 1K. is going to be need it .
You have an interesting point., can you buy the parts and just have the shop installing then ?
Or they will feel offended and refuse to do the job.
I had some work done in the past were I know for a fact that the parts could not have cost as much as they charge me for it.

well that means they dont have to go get them for 1.. Places charge more for parts where they have to go and get them, gas and all. I believe these parts are dealer only ( for the knuckles) check them first before you buy them.

first of all you need a good place for someone to work on your car. find a place where the mechanics dont make flat rate hour. They are less ampt to rip you off

How you know if the shop pay there mechanics by the hour .
Do they post this info or you have to ask ?

What you and a great many other Cadillac owners are feeling is not bad shocks, alignment or tires. It's rear knuckle Bushings. The swaying and wobble in the back is due to the upper bushings allowing the camber of the wheel to jump around and acts like a low tire..... FIX YOUR PROBLEM WITH US:

Cadillac Rear Knuckle Bushing Replacement ! They are Automotive Grade OE Parts ... don't accept less !!

Don't replace the entire knuckle when you can just replace the bushing !
