1995 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive 140000 miles

My interiror courtesy lights keep turning on and I am unable to turn them off. I had to take the fuse otu to keep them off. The "trunk open" appears on dash when the fuse is out.

It sounds like one of your door ajar switches is sticking or is faulty. This will cause the interior lights to illuminate as if you were opening the car door(s). Spray some WD40 in all door jambs and see if this temporarily fixes the issue.

Say I tried something different with my courtesy light problem. I am using the other remote entry module.
(keyless entry). I put the fuse back in a little while ago and the lights haven't come on yet. I'm thinking the other module might have been turning the lights on. I took the battery out of it. Comments?

That is possible. Something may have shorted out inside the key fob unit. Just keep an eye on the lights for a few days and if they stay out, trade the key fobs back out to see if they come back on. If they do come back on then you got if figured out already ;)
