1000 bucks per side!??!?!?! not even looking at it?!?!?!?

take it to a differnt place asap and have them look at it and find out whats wrong.

i have a feeling its the struts since you say it bounces?

boucne each corner of the vehicle and step back, the vehicle shoudl stop bouncing when you step back and it should return to the original ride heign, if not check the strts.

a 1000 for the job is high also unless if they were also putting in strut bearings also, but that is still high.

you have 2 struts 2 strut bearings and an alignment 4 wheel, --- maybe 800.00 max

i wouldnt pay the price no matter how low or high it is if they just give you a quote and send you off without even looking at it!

hate to see if something else could be wrong causing the problem not the struts, and theyd just throw parts at it untill its fixed and your 1000 dollar bill is a 2000 dollar billl..

If if feels like boat on the lake when you run over a dip in the road, you have electric struts not shocks and on a 1994 cadillac deville a thousand dollars a piece is the normal cost, but you can exchange them with gas struts but your service ride control light won't go off. but your car will stop the bouncing.
