1994 Cadillac Deville reverse

i have a 1994 cadillac sedan deville the car runs and drives great but my problem is reverse can only be engaged by pressing the accelerator down to get it to move i have changed the fluid and filter and added lucas trans treatmeant the old fluid wasnt burnt and there wasnt that nuch metal in the pan any info will be greatly appreciated

were there any chuncks of metal in the pan?

no there wasnt any chunks of metal there was hardly any metal my dad said it looked normal when you first start it reverse works pretty good but when it warms up you have to gas it a couple of times but when it starts to catch it goes good thank you for your information sir :)

if there were bronze shavings in there thats bad, gray debris on the magnet is normal

the filters for the trans are in the side pan, the only way to replace them is to remove the trans you just replaced screens that are cleanable if you didnt
