I Ran the on-board diagnostic and it doesn't recognize the pcm. It shows "PCM?". Took to a shop because it failed an AIMs test and he said he couldnt connect to my computer. WHat should i do?

This is a 94, and the vehicle does run? After you press off and warmer, and it does the segment check, it displays 'PCM?'? It would display that after it went through displaying all the codes. If it didn't recognize the PCM, it would either not even be there, or it would display 'no pcm data'. At any rate, when it displays 'PCM?', press fan up. It should change to PCM codes, PCM data, PCM overrides, or PCM clear codes. Fan down will scroll through the choices, fan up will select. See what that does.
