This is going to sound odd, but recently my blower motor went out and a replacement is very very expensive and I am trying to sell the car anyway. I was wondering if I could use a random blower motor and modify it so it mounts where the oem one was. I know the oem one had computerized speed controll so I was wondering if I could just use the existing 12v wire and run it to a dial switch inside the car than back to the new "random" blower motor to create a manual way to adjust the speed of the motor while still ensuring it shuts off with the when the vehicle does. I know this seems unorthodox but for a car with 180,000 miles I would hate to spend 3oo bucks when I could go to a junk yard and get a motor and cut a connector for around $30. I think in this situation creativity is far better than the dealer way.

So no takers on what I should do or even if this idea will work. If it will does anyone have any experience on this matter that can offer some guidance.

I would take choice number 2, go to a junk yard and get a used one, rather that try to create something, that may or may not work.
With all the elctronics in Caddy's, you may unknowingly create a new problem.
