1992 Cadillac Deville getting no fire in distributor cap

did you try squriting carb cleaner down the throttle plates to see if it would start? try this first

if it doesnt, then remove the distributor, replace the pick up coil and the cam senser ( hall effect switch ). and the ign module if you havent done so. the coil is another thing, its in the top of the distributor cap. who ever told you that it was a computor is an idoit
