1991 Cadillac Deville Air con- heater

After running the car that has been laid up for 5 months the air con will not turn off even after removing the key and walking away so i have to remove the fuse to stop it.
Any suggestions

someone has ran a continuous hot lead to blower motor disconnect and rehook correctly.

Thank you for your reply.
The car had not been hot wired in any way but i eventually sorted it out by letting the engine run for a considerable amount of time and let the computer reset itself and that seemed to cure the problem although i did keep playing with the controls so one or other of these operations sorted the problem.
Now i am keeping the battery on charge continuously to avoid it going flat.
