1990 Cadillac Deville vibration, shimmy

have a vibration, shimmy problem between 20-49 mph. Seems when accelerating there is a bad vibrations though the front end is about to come out.. seems like levels off after 40/45. have you hit anything, did they look for a bent rim, or bad tire? ck tie-rods, outer and inner, inner is part of the rack( steering-gear ) also make sure the gear isnt loose
