1989 Cadillac Deville heater fan replacement

1989 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

how do I get the heater fan out to change it, it is hitting the engin block stopping it from coming out of the fan housing.

Place a floor jack under the front of the frame and remove the front two subframe bolts. Lower the frame and it should provide access, may need to move a harness or some hoses out of your way.
