02 cadillac deville power steering pump

slight creeking noise when turning my steering wheel while driving at low speed. When turning into a parking space and turning steering quickly back and forth it. seems to tighten up and gets jerky. I would assume power steering pump is on the way out but thought I'd check it there may be any other problems to look for.
