CUTS OFF AND WON'T SRART

Hi,

If the vehicle stalls and won't restart until it cools for a while, chances are the problem is related to the crankshaft position sensor. When this sensor starts to fail, heat will have an adverse effect on it causing the engine to stall. Once it cools, it will work again.

If this seems like a possibility, then do this. When the engine won't restart, watch the tachometer when cranking the engine. It should move a little, or get a live data scan tool and check for an RPM signal. If there isn't one, it is likely a bad sensor.
