I have a problem with the pass. rear window.. I replaced the motor, but the window will only go down, will not go up. The switch has power to both sides of the switch... I reversed the left rear and right rear switches but still does the same.. Where is the relay, if there is one or what do you think the problem is...

Thanks, Dave

HI tallcedar
Remove switch use test light or meter probe dark blue wire place rocker switch in up position there should be power. If so remove door panel check connection and power on Dk Blu wire. If there is power motor should operate.
Let me know what you find
Thanks for donation
There is no relay involved just switch. Does it operate from master switch? if not something is wrong with motor.

I did test the leads, and there is power at the switch in both up and down, but I tested with a ground from the frame to both leads... The window does not operate in the up position on either switch drivers door or pass. rear door.. It will go down, but not up.. The motor is new, and I tested it with a set of leads and a battery... It runs both up and down... Beings it is a reversing motor with a switch, could it be it is not getting a ground in the up position???

There are two dark blue wires one is hot all the the other is hot when in up position. The ground is common all you are doing is reversing polarity of the motor. Find hot all the time dk/blu then check the other dk/blu when in up position.

This is the tests...
1 Used battery supply and test leads, by reversing the battery leads at the motor, the motor ran up and down.. Motor has two wires to it, brown and blue with a stripe..
2 with the motor disconected put test meter on the conector that goes to the motor, blue with a stripe and brown.. with positive on blue with stripe and neg. on brown, no reading.. Reversed the test and read 12 volts... Did same on window that works and found 12 volts ion both tests...
3 Removed switch on drivers side door, but is one complete modgule.. Could my problem stem from the front door switch??? You can not reverse it... I did reverse the rear door switches but no change, so that tells me that the rear switches are good.. Any thoughts???
Thanks, Dave
PS Give me a # and I will call if this is a option..

See if there is ground on Purple wire if not fault in master switch.
